A home swimming pool is so wonderful to have in hot weather, especially if you own a swimming pool in San Juan Capistrano. In areas where summer weather can be extreme, a swimming pool has intense benefits. No matter where you live in Southern California, being able to cool off at a moment’s notice is a luxury.
Just slip on your swimsuit and jump in, especially if you have a Ladera Ranch pool. Make sure everyone knows how to swim safe and take a few swimming pool safety measures so that your pool is secure from curious little children when you’re not on the spot to supervise.
A pool gate or other pool barrier is an excellent way to secure your pool when not in use. The pool barrier should be at least four feet tall without footholds or handholds for a child to climb it. A child should not be able to squeeze through vertical fence slats, so make sure they are less than four inches apart. A chain-link fence should have diamond openings smaller than 1 3/4 inches. The bottom of the pool gate or pool barrier should also be less than four inches off the ground. and the latches on the gate of a pool fence should be out of children’s reach.
Take care to make sure that a child can’t reach through an opening in the fence to unlatch the pool gate, as well.
Swimming at home is more fun when everyone can swim safe, and owning a swimming pool in San Juan Capistrano or Ladera Ranch, or anywhere else is less stressful when you take good swimming pool safety measures!
