My husband and I just finished a major backyard remodel with Dreamscapes. We demolished everything in our yard and Dreamscapes built an unimaginable oasis that far exceeded our expectations. When we set out to begin our project, we were extremely skeptical because we had been through the process four years prior at our previous home. I will not mention the company by name, but everything about working with them was AWFUL. So we decided this time, we would do our homework and look into the reviews of possible companies. Right from the start, we thought Dreamscapes were a good fit. We had Joe as our designer and he was amazing. He REALLY seemed to care that our job was thoroughly planned and cohesive across all parts, sometimes more than we did! As far as the bid went, we knew what to expect and also knew that Dreamscapes wouldn't be the cheapest. After going through this process with the cheapest company before, we learned that you truly get what you pay for. We were pleasantly surprised that they weren't as expensive as we thought, for their quality of work. In the end, we paid exactly what they bid, with only one change order of minor enhancements that was completely our doing. We built a pool and spa with rock waterfall feature and rock slide dug into a hillside, an outdoor kitchen with covered roof, a fireplace, outdoor media system, terraced hillside for crops and fruit trees, and complete landscaping. We knew it would be a lengthy project. Dreamscapes did everything from the sprinklers to the lighting fixtures. We only hired outside companies for the electronics and gates, which Dreamscapes doesn't handle. They said it would take about 5 months. It took exactly 5 months. They had a crew there 6 days a week. Sometimes only one or two guys, sometimes ten. We were so impressed by that, knowing it was not the norm. The work crews were amazing, too. Friendly, quiet, hard-working, and CLEAN. Even our neighbors made comments to us about how impressed they were. Everything was done quickly and efficiently, sometimes with 10-11 hour days! My biggest compliment would have to be their quality of work. Any time we thought that something wasn't looking the way we imagined it, it was redone, no questions asked. That rarely happened, but throughout the process we were anxious to see how things would end up looking and we were always impressed. I would think it would be difficult to take someone's verbal description and general taste, and make it come to fruition, but Dreamscapes outdid themselves. By the end, I was completely confident trusting whatever Joe thought would look good. He pointed out things we hadn't thought of, and he truly took on his responsibilities as the designer as if it were his personal space he'd have to live with! I can't say enough how amazing he was. Everyone who sees our yard comments on the quality of the rock work, or the construction of the roof and kitchen. After knowing how bad other companies can be, we couldn't be happier that we chose Dreamscapes. We had Gabe and Diego as our project managers and they were literally an email away. My husband and I both work full time, and we have three kids. We are always busy, so when we needed help with something or had a question or concern, we were anxious to handle it then and there. If we emailed or called anyone, we were answered almost immediately. At the very most, within the hour! Even on their days off. Any concern was handled on the spot. The communication aspect was unbelievable and that in itself sets this company apart from any others. Most reviews of other pool companies show that they are notoriously bad at keeping to a schedule and returning calls. Dreamscapes excels at both! We will continue to praise the professionalism, work, and general experience of working with Dreamscapes to anyone interested. If you are thinking of building a pool or remodeling anything, do your homework. Read reviews and ask for references. It can be a really stressful experience with the wrong company.
